My 3 year old son was diagnosed with autism at age 2. He developed just like any typical little boy. He walked, talked and smiled.
Somewhere around 12-13 months of age, he lost his ability to communicate. He then lost his eye contact. He started some obsessive behaviors, as well as hand flapping. He was physically sick.
