My goal for this fundraising project is to provide impoverished families in a developing country with agricultural items that will allow them to feed themselves and generate income through farming.

Through World Vision's 'Gifts that Change the World' program, donations collected through this fundraising page will be used to purchase as many of the following items as funds raised allow:

10 fruit trees = $60
Will produce tons of fruit and much needed income.

2 olive trees = $60
Olive trees provide oil that families can sell for income and use for cooking.

1 Sheep = $150
 Wool, meat, milk, fertilizer and fuel: sheep make a wonderful gift for a family.

2 child emergency nutrition kits = $240
Treats malnourished children under five.

As an artist ambassador for World Vision, over the past few months I've learned more and more about kids and families overseas who need our help. We hear statistics so often that they have lost some of their impact, so I want to keep this very personal and help kids one at a time by finding them a little bit of support...such a small gesture on our part makes such a HUGE difference to one little boy or girl, and can literally save a life.
