They say...              
Every year, the employees of the RJH Patient Placement Department bring in a gift of no more than $10, to donate to a "basket". In mid November, this basket is wrapped up and displayed at the main admittig desk at RJH and tickets are sold for .50 each or 5 for $2. A draw is made about 1 week before Christmas and the lucky winner of the basket is notified. Then, 100% of the proceeds of the ticket sales are distributed among several organizations around Greater Victoria. Last year approx $1200 was raised.

We heard about the wonderful work that CARTS is doing in our community and wanted to help.
