I support this project because it is not only providing education to children who are eager to learn but also giving the community an opportunity to use their skills and work together for the good of their children and their community. By building a school that provides education up to Grade 6, the community has already shown what they are capable of when they have the means. Bravo to Sega!

On 2 April 06, the First United Church in Dryden, ON, hosted a world premier of the work of Owen Bloomfield who composed and conducted a wonderful Cantata in honour of his uncle, Omar Cook. Omar loved music, loved children and gave generously of himself and what he had to those in need. Omar's family wanted the donations collected at this incredible event to be used for a cause Omar would have loved to support . Thanks to the generous support of the Dryden community, $1360.00 was raised at this event for the expansion of the New Era Preparatory School in Sega. May God Bless the school, the community and especially the children who will benefit from receiving an education that will prepare them to make life enhancing choices for themselves and generations to come.
