JustWork Economic Initiative is an innovative social enterprise that employs individuals with barriers to traditional employment. We assist individuals facing physical disabilities, mental illness, homelessness and addictions; we also work with refugee claimants and low-income single parents. JustWork has four different enterprises: Just Potters, Just Garden, JustCatering, and JustRepairs. Each enterprise offers flexible work hours and job expectations. For some, this work experience can enable an entry or return to the traditional workforce; for others, JustWork provides a longer term place of employment.
JustWork fosters a sense of community among our employees, a safe place where they can learn and grow, and a social network of friends and colleagues who can help them to find resources as they work to improve their life situations.
Work is an important part of daily life - JustWork is able to provide employees with increased self confidence, meaningful activity and opportunities for personal growth and development they may not be able to find elsewhere.
