I've been so jaded by the "industry" of charities. My friend worked briefly for World Vision getting people to sponsor children for a dollar a day.
For each child sponsored he would make $60, his supervisor would make $120 and it increased up the chain of command.
With just my friend and his supervisor, that means 6 months of somebody's donations would not reach anywhere close to the children who needed it. Not to mention the outragious salaries of the higher ups in the organization ($300,000 and higher salaries) no profit just big fat paycheques! these people are so out of touch, they just don't get it.

I am so grateful there are chariries like this one out there who "get it". Thank you so much for everything you are doing and trying to do. It's groups like this that really make a difference!
