My first wheels! (myfirstwheels.ca) is a non profit initiative to give kids in low income communities the opportunity to own a bike.
To be able to use their bike gift safely, the kids who receive bicycles also need helmets.
Will you help us meet our goal of matching each donated bicycle with a $15 helmet?
For safety reasons, only new, fitted helmets can be used.
We are collecting funds to purchase $15 helmet vouchers to match each donated bike we receive.
This summer - our first - caring people like you donated bikes for 30 kids.
By the end of the summer 2010 we hope to donate 50 bikes and helmet vouchers!
