Here is an easy way to donate to help with primary education. Its not about elarning how to read and write but its about elarning how to live a happy life. Pratham Schools teach you the A to Z of being a child to an adult to a grown up.

I spent 6 months volunteering at a community school in Vadodara and realised our money isnt just going to the balckboards needed in school for the teachers, or a students books, but its also been put to good use by exposing the children to sports activities, arts and crafts, etc what a child needs to know and enjoy.

We have also come up with a calendar for 2008 which will soon eb available to buy..where we showcase the different aspirations of the children in the future. some are hesitant about it, whereas some are confident they will achieve it with good mentors around them.

We plan to showcase different communities(schools) every year and send the fundraised money to that particular community.

For now come walk with our team Pratham BC, and be part of it by volunteering, donating, walking, exchanging a word or two about the cause...
