This project is to raise funds to provide free one-to-one care and support for children with special needs who attend summer camps.

Reach for the Rainbow has over 20 years experience offering integration programs for camps.

I've worked with this charity for seven years now as a one-to-one support counselor and had the chance to experience the difference the program makes first-hand. I'd like to raise money in order to offer this experience to families who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford to send their child to camp. The camping experience is truly the highlight of many participants year.

It costs an average of an extra $50 per day to provide one-to-one support for a camper with special needs, and that extra expense adds up during a full one or two-week camping session.

The objective for this project is to be able to raise funds to cover these costs for three campers for one week each. Hopefully this number can grow each summer!
