This $50 comes from my GivingPool, which allowed my friends to give to my account and then let me choose which charities receive the money. Thanks to Hugh & Jody for their donations.

I wanted to support this particular GivingGroup because even though no one I know personally has committed suicide, I was shocked to learn that suicide is the second biggest killer of young people in Canada. This is absolutely shocking and for an issue which takes so many lives, there is really not much public awareness/education about suicide.

In my duty as CEO of GiveMeaning, I've gotten to know Jude Platzer and I know how much energy she spends trying to raise awareness for the cause.
