Queen's Health Outreach (QHO) is a non-for profit student-run organization established in 1987 by a small group of medical students. Today, QHO has become the largest student-run, registered, charitable organization at Queen's University in Kingston, Canada. QHO operates with an executive board comprised of 27 students, hires 35 student Peer Educators annually to carry out our initiatives in communities, and has a volunteer base of 75 students who works on Queens Campus.
Our Mandate states we are an entirely student-run NGO dedicated to promoting health through needs -based peer education inititatives both locally and internationally. In addition to publishing web-based health and development publication, students from diverse faculties at Queen's University plan and implement health-based curriculums in elementary schools, high schools, and various community groups. We aim to enhance our sustainability and effectiveness by partnering with likeminded organizations wherever we work.
Without your generous support QHO would be unable to maintain the quality of our local and international initiatives . By sponsoring QHO you will provide youth across the globe with the information and skills to impact the health of their communities with the help of a new generation of socially-minded Queen's University Students.
