I am involved because I have a responsibility to help people in need, help keep the people of Darfur alive as the UN is cutting food rations in half. I will not sit by and let them die of starvation, lack of sanitary facilities, water, and shelter. I have to help and so can you.

I am a peace advocate and believe in the goodness of our common humanity. I am a PhD Candidate, and an instructor at Simon Fraser University. I am originally from Ghana and founded Canadian Students for Darfur because I have a responsibility to speak for the victims of the Darfur conflict.

I am collecting donations to help Darfur refugees.  I will walk on July 22nd to bring their needs to more people, and collect donations to help them.  I will continue speaking out on the Darfur issue; asking the international community and Canada to help. I will be helping to plan concerts, rallies, walks, vigils, protest to keep Darfur alive in the minds of all.
