Hello! 

I have decided to ride my bike from Vancouver to Mexico in May with Agents of Change.  The purpose of this trip is to raise money for mircocredit loans.  We are riding to help struggling developing world entrepreneurs with small trust based loans as they seek to build their families a better life. 

Microcredit works by extending small, trust-based loans to impoverished entrepreneurs unable to obtain credit through traditional means. Rather than a one-time handout, microlending has the ability to help entrepreneurs from developing regions grow and sustain their businesses over the long run.

I have decided to be a part of this team because I feel that everyday I am becoming more conscious of the urgency for change that needs to occur in the world and I want to be part of bringing it about!

I have to raise $3000 by May.  All donations to AOC’s Microcredit fund are distributed to individual entrepreneurs through Kiva, our partner organization.  Donations contributed to the microcredit fund are perpetually re-lent to different entrepreneurs in need, and AOC members control the funds at all times.

If you can donate $5, thats awesome.  If you can donate $5000000, that's also awesome.  Anything will help.
